- ¾ oz Chambord (Raspberry liquor)
- Club soda

over the ice filled glass.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250 mL) whipping cream
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Grand Marnier, liquor
- 10 oz (280 g) semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 oz (56 g) white chocolate, chopped
- Items to dip: fresh strawberries sliced bananas, orange segments,
cookies, sponge cake.
How to make it:
- Empty the whipping cream into a small saucepan and place it over
medium heat.
- Bring cream to simmer and then eventually remove from heat. Add
the semisweet chocolate and stir until chocolate is melted and
silky.
- Stir the paste in the liquor.
- Remove mixture to a small ceramic fondue pot over a tea light
candle.
- Sprinkle the chopped white chocolate over the dark chocolate
mixture, let stand for a minute or two to allow it to melt, then
gently run a spoon thoroughly two or three times, just until
patterned.
- Serve with a variety of fresh fruit and portion of cake for
dipping.Serves Two.
Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients:
- 21/2 cups of plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 11/2 cups of sugar
- 1 1/2 cup of cooking oil
- 1 cup of buttermilk

- 2 teaspoons of cocoa
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
How to make it:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease three layer pans and line it with double thickness of wax
paper.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together.
- Add remaining liquid ingredients. Mix until creamy and smooth.

Almond Rice recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Basmati Rice
- Quarter teaspoon Turmeric
- Vegetable Oil 5 bay leaves
- 2 green cardamom pods
- Quarter of an onion finely chopped
- Handful of raisins
- Quarter cup grated almonds
- Tablespoon flaked almonds
- Water
How to make it:
- In a large pan of water add salt to taste
- Bring to the boil
- Add basmati rice, turmeric, bay leaves and cardamoms to the water
- Simmer for 8 minutes
- Drain and leave to cool for next 30 minutes
- Heat the oil in a frying pan or wok and fry the onion until
translucent
- Stir in the rice slowly along with the raisins and almonds
- Stir fry until hot
- Serve after garnishing with flaked almonds.
- Serves Two.
